The Arctic Tech Stack
By Jonathan Lacoste & Sawsan Haider
The Arctic is one of the most valuable regions on Earth, and increasingly one of the most geopolitically hostile. Russia, China, Canada and the U.S. are all battling for Arctic Supremacy.
It's also one of the most austere environments for technology to operate.
In Issue 004 of the Ambition Capital Journal, we unpack the Arctic Tech Stack: why it needs to be built from scratch across sensing & comms, power, autonomous defense, and logistics, not adapted from what already works in temperate climates.
Thank you to Eliot Pence, Founder & CEO of Dominion Dynamics, for sharing his perspective on challenges within Arctic defense.
